Helen led a remarkable life of service to the Tucson and U�����鶹��ѿ�communities. The namesake of the Helen S. Schaefer Building, which houses one of the United States’ most exceptional library collections of contemporary poetry, Helen was passionate about education, poetry, the arts and humanities. A devoted and generous friend of the university, her contributions leave an indelible and beautiful legacy that will continue to benefit our students and our state for generations to come.”
